Silverio Cordara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the BICHO neuquino defense, Gilberto Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Ramone. The BICHO neuquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Ramone should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Serafino Ramone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 30 minutes into the game, Leo Oxarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BICHO neuquino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Esparta the free kick.
