Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sixto Bernaldo kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. MILO's goalkeeper Teodoro Ciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melchor Birila hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Arnaldo Sarracino made a precise shot to the right of Teodoro Ciano. C.A. MILO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Isaac Marcones notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A. MILO's Teodoro Ciano. Teodoro Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Ramiro Timo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Raymon. Velez Sarsfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Timo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Arnoldo Madaleno hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Isaac Marcones took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Ciano. Teodoro Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Teodoro Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Sarracino in the 24th minute of the match. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Madaleno in the 31st minute of play. Uriel Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Seber during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Arnaldo Sarracino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velez Sarsfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Fermin Txatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Isaac Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez Sarsfield and the C.A. MILO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodoro Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield's Albano Seber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Marcones to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Arnaldo Sarracino put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Teodoro Ciano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Marcones in the 56th minute of play forced C.A. MILO's goalkeeper Teodoro Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Seber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Sarracino got free with Teodoro Ciano in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Velez Sarsfield's Uriel Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Timo in the 68th minute of play. Isaac Marcones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodoro Ciano having to make a save. Arnaldo Sarracino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Teodoro Ciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Uriel Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Madaleno in the 77th minute of play. Uriel Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when C.A. MILO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Sarracinos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Teodoro Ciano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute, Leo Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Velez Sarsfield's Melchor Birila got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Patricio Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Velez Sarsfield defense, Arnoldo Madaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Raymon. The Velez Sarsfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Raymon should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Velez Sarsfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
