After 5 played minutes Pujol FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Berbiz. David Quinten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pujol FC's goalkeeper David Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 minutes of play, Academia 1903's Diego Cordario made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Quinten was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Hermelando in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute Anacleto Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Orlanda charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Siro Orlanda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Academia 1903 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Academia 1903's Silvano Palban got control of the ball when Ezequiel Kusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Gartzi. With 30 minutes on the clock, Erasmo Gartzi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Academia 1903:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Academia 1903:s Silvano Palban showed great skill when he stopped Leonardo Maties:s penalty. Pujol FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo Maties in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on Pujol FC's corner Matias Pero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvano Palban quite easily take care of the ball. In the 36th minute, Epifanio Hermelando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Quinten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Orlanda in the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Pero to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Matias Pero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia 1903's Silvano Palban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Palban having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Diego Cordario fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of David Quinten, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Pujol FC booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Hermelando didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Palban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Pero's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Silvano Palban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 85th minute, Matias Pero made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Palban. Academia 1903's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Pujol FC's David Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Orlanda in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Epifanio Hermelando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Quinten. The goal made the score 2-2. Academia 1903 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
