In the 3rd minute, Leonel Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Jonas Mede shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Comizzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonel Atauri kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Ismael Medina Bello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Leonel Atauri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KYRA FC and the RIVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascual Austin hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Niceto Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIVER made a substitution. Hilario Avellaneda replaced Hernan Kelemen. In the 28th minute, Pascual Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Rey charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Rey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Tabby lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KYRA FC! KYRA FC:s Marco Jago showed great skill when he stopped Marcelino Afonso:s penalty. Marcelino Afonso took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Jago. Marco Jago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Giraldo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Maximiliano Rey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Jago was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, RIVER's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Machado came free, but Angel Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes RIVER got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Pere. Hector Fernanco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel Comizzo. RIVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, RIVER's Maximiliano Rey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Jago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Niceto Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Marcelino Afonso hit a great ball. Angel Comizzo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Mede. After 79 minutes of play, RIVER's Pascual Austin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Jago was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Uriel Txordon fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER's protests and gave Uriel Txordon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Uriel Txordon got a free kick in the 85th minute.
