The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 37 minutes of play, Deportivo Iguazu's Angelino Tomi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Rocio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Deportivo Iguazu booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Milio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Angelino Tomi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Rocio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xu Quan Song was the one to do the kick off. La Scaloneta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Iguazu the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Filomeno Sidro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bonifacio Aurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Omar Tonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Javier Rocio made a huge save. Javier Rocio came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Iguazu's Omar Tonio. But to his dismay, Omar Tonio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Deportivo Iguazu's Clodoveo Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Sebastian Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Deportivo Iguazu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Scaloneta throughout the match.
