Jairo Formerio scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Espinillos AFC defense, Erasmo Millrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Osoitz. The Espinillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Osoitz should have stopped the shot. Marcial Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Apolo Richie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Marcial Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Espinillos AFC defense, Jairo Formerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Osoitz. The Espinillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Osoitz should have stopped the shot. Marcial Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Millrick in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Antonio Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Baltasar Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Osoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 0-7 became the score in the 33rd minute when Apolo Richie elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Mundo in the 36th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Richie to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bernabe Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espinillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEWELL´S OLD BOYS the free kick. 55 minutes into the match, Espinillos AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Osoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Mundo. Marcial Osoitz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Erasmo Millrick sent off a good shot on target. Baltasar Rios scored 0-10 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Millrick in the 62nd minute of play forced Espinillos AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Millrick got free with Marcial Osoitz in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz got control of the ball when Antonio Mundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltasar Rios scored 0-11 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Millrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marcial Osoitz made a huge save. In the 75th minute Jairo Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Osoitz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick. But to his dismay, Erasmo Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. Marcial Osoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Mundo went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. After having played for 84 minutes, Antonio Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Mundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Apolo Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick made it 0-14 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Osoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Mundo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Osoitz. Marcial Osoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. When the final whistle sounded NEWELL´S OLD BOYS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Espinillos AFC.
