Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carmelo Roano took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Antonio Mundo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 5th minute, Antonio Mundo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Osoitz. The goal made the score 1-0. Marcial Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Roano in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Erasmo Millrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NEWELL´S OLD BOYS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 19th match minute, Espinillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Dei hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Antonio Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Osoitz. Espinillos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Espinillos AFC booed when NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Jairo Formerio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Osoitz. The goal made the score 5-0. Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Roano in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Osoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcial Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Roano in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Lehior made a kick off. Carmelo Roano took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcial Osoitz. Marcial Osoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 58 minutes, Eustacio Martxelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espinillos AFC and the NEWELL´S OLD BOYS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eustacio Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Carmelo Roano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 61st minute, Erasmo Millrick made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Osoitz. Espinillos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Marcial Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Formerio in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Mundo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcial Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Formerio in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Espinillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Millrick came free, but Marcial Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Erasmo Millrick made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Osoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcial Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Espinillos AFC's Marcial Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Roano in the 93rd minute of play. Jairo Formerio scored 13-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS had played much better football throughout.
