The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Millano in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Belmiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 played minutes Forros Fantásticos AC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Afonso. In the 5th minute Roberto Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Apolo Elequemedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guillermo Marko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's Luis Santana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guillermo Marko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luis Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Marko made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Apolo Elequemedo sent off a good shot on target. After 15 minutes Forros Fantásticos AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Boniel who took care of the corner kick. In the 18th minute, Anastasio Millano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Santana got free with Guillermo Marko in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Santana in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Marko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 22 minutes, Anastasio Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forros Fantásticos AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Guillermo Marko managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Santa Maradona's Apolo Elequemedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Forros Fantásticos AC's Guillermo Marko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Elequemedo in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Santana came free, but Guillermo Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Marko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Ubendu in the 28th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Uriel Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Marko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Elequemedo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Anastasio Millano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Belmiro. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Belmiro should have stopped the shot. If Anastasio Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Santana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guillermo Marko. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Elequemedo in the 46th minute of play forced Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Guillermo Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
In the 52nd minute, Roberto Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Marko having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Elequemedo came free, but Guillermo Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Anastasio Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Forros Fantásticos AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Bero to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Apolo Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Marko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Guillermo Marko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Roberto Boniel got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Gustavo Ubendu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Forros Fantásticos AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Ubendu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Santa Maradona's Andres Jon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Anastasio Millano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Uriel Belmiro. That made the score 3-2 in the 84 minute of play. Gustavo Ubendu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Uriel Belmiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when Forros Fantásticos AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Forros Fantásticos AC defense, Apolo Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Marko. The Forros Fantásticos AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Marko should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santa Maradona had won after a very even match.
