Fidel Oihenarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Froilan Pasqual when he managed to save the team from getting behind. German Ekaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Crişan Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Osorio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Club Atlético Temperley's Froilan Pasqual proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Temperley from getting a goal against them. Manuel Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Pasqual having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Temperley booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Francesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cenan Savlet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and German Ekaitz made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Oihenarte came free, but Froilan Pasqual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciclista FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
