Fidel Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fidel Rik made a huge save. Fernando Sabin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Rik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, one of GERLIROJO Ψ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GERLIROJO Ψ. Fidel Rik had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Fidel Gaitano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Fidel Gaitano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GERLIROJO Ψ's Fidel Rik. Fidel Rik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Merexildo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of Alvarado de Mar del Plata:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alvarado de Mar del Plata. Segundo Laurendi had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristo Ermano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arnoldo Avellaneda hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Chago got free with Fidel Rik in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Ermano to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Fidel Gaitano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fidel Rik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvarado de Mar del Plata reached it. Segundo Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Cristo Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Gaitano struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fidel Rik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvarado de Mar del Plata. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Victor Chago took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fidel Rik to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

GERLIROJO Ψ's Jacinto Danel was substituted for Cristo Ermano. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Muc to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Gaitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Rik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Victor Chago got a free kick in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Alvarado de Mar del Plata's corner Fidel Gaitano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fidel Rik quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Alvarado de Mar del Plata booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Fernando Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Rik came out of the goal and Fernando Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Lluc charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Lluc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Aristides Oro made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Laurendi. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Aristides Oro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Segundo Laurendi. 83 minutes into the match, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Oro came free, but Segundo Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Rik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Aristides Oro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Segundo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Siro Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, Alvarado de Mar del Plata failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
