Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Magno Fernandes made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Claudio Santio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itacaruaré FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin de Tucuman the free kick. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré FC's Claudio Santio got a free kick in the 4th minute. Martin Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Itacaruaré FC's Roque Orlan tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Carlos Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolunay Atlıhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Rafael Roldanillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Martin de Tucuman and the Itacaruaré FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Roldanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Atarrabi. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Roque Orlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itacaruaré FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Orlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Peio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itacaruaré FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute San Martin de Tucuman were awarded a corner. Amadeo Vincent went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Amadeo Vincent got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ismael Garaona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 30 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Peio came free, but Carlos Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Itacaruaré FC's zone, Hector Gizon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Garaona came out of the goal and Hector Gizon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Gizon in the 32nd minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Ismael Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolunay Atlıhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hector Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Gizon to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré FC's Magno Fernandes got a free kick in the 50th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Gizon in the 51st minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Ismael Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ismael Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to San Martin de Tucuman getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Flavio Blai hit a great ball. In the 55th match minute, San Martin de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Vincent to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes Itacaruaré FC got a freekick which was hit by 蔡宇冰. Ismael Garaona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Gizon's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Tolunay Atlıhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Carlos Velasco made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Matias Eate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucuman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Aquilino Pasqual replaced Rafael Roldanillo. After 77 minutes of play, San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Claudio Hondo replaced Blas Oxarra. After 88 minutes, Aquilino Pasqual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Martin de Tucuman and the Itacaruaré FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Pasqual. Faustino Ospin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Itacaruaré FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Martin de Tucuman.
