Damian Quintun charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Quintun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Boquenses booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Quintun didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Aristides Hotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabio Herauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Bidari went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lucio Thomas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Seber in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Gizon came free, but Lucio Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goalkeeper Lucio Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Seber. After 16 minutes Boquenses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luisito Sandalio who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Boquenses's Placido Bidari got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Boquenses's goalkeeper Lucio Thomas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Dalmu. Club Atletico Fenix's Luisito Sandalio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucio Thomas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lucio Thomas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cecilio Seber in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Frichoso came free, but Fabio Herauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Boquenses's Damian Bero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Fenix protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cosme Elizardo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fabio Herauso went to the wrong direction when Rodrigo Frichoso was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After the first half Boquenses were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Bero was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Aristides Hotz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Herauso. Aristides Hotz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 60 played minutes Boquenses got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Iruinea. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Bero in the 64th minute of play. Cleto Dalmu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Rodrigo Frichoso took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Fabio Herauso to make any attempt to save it. Placido Bidari came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Herauso could save by the left post. The supporters of Boquenses booed when Club Atletico Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Frichoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fabio Herauso made a huge save. Damian Hitz's late challenge caught a Boquenses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Hitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Damian Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Herauso was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Rodrigo Frichoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Frichoso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 94th minute Rodrigo Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Joaquin Martxot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabio Herauso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Boquenses's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
