An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Maurin in the 17th minute of play forced ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Ariel Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Maurin in the 19th minute of play. Ariel Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ViCeNzA getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Esteve Hurko hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, Loco De Remate's Gerardo Bibiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ariel Bitxintxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loco De Remate reached it. Ariel Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Dolcet was a little too slow when Esteve Hurko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. ViCeNzA's Ariel Bitxintxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Orlanda in the 41st minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernan Llope stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Bitxintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Maurin went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Casado came free, but Pedro Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Arnaldo Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loco De Remate's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Gutxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amado Maurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ariel Bitxintxo made a huge save. In the 92nd minute, one of Loco De Remate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Loco De Remate. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
