Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Estudiantes de América's Gustavo Bautista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Abadia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Berriotxoa got free with Flavio Nuñez in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Jaizki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Piernas Locas Crane FC's Ivan Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Bautista in the 8th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Piernas Locas Crane FC's Flavio Nuñez threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Urbano Llorenc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Flavio Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Flavio Nuñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Berriotxoa. 21 minutes into the game, Ernesto Kismi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Estudiantes de América's Bernardo Quiroga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mariano Urdaspal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gustavo Bautista hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Piernas Locas Crane FC's Venancio Mark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Nuñez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piernas Locas Crane FC reached it. Ernesto Kismi lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 35th minute, Anselmo Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Orlan's late challenge caught a Piernas Locas Crane FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Orlan helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Flavio Nuñez managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Piernas Locas Crane FC's Urbano Llorenc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Bernardo Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Nuñez having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Urdaspal to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Isaias Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de América's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piernas Locas Crane FC the free kick. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Isaias Caetano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Urdaspal in the 53rd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Flavio Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Mariano Urdaspal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Nuñez. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Urdaspal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Flavio Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Urdaspal in the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Bautista. Gustavo Bautista took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Jaizki. Ivan Jaizki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 74th minute, Venancio Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Llorenc in the 79th minute of play. Urbano Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Piernas Locas Crane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Llorenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Ourente took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Jaizki. Piernas Locas Crane FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivan Jaizki made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gustavo Bautista sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Llorenc in the 93rd minute of play. When Matias Ler fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de América's protests and gave Matias Ler a yellow card for diving instead.
