The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, ELMUÑE's Arsenio Oriche got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Matias Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Matias Ramond notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ELMUÑE's Mauricio Santiago. Mauricio Santiago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute Cipriano Ulizes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matias Ramond came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Pegale De Puntín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Ramond couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pegale De Puntín's Cipriano Ulizes got a free kick in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Oriche in the 19th minute of play forced Pegale De Puntín's goalkeeper Francisco Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Santiago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Ramond went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, ELMUÑE's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Ramond came free, but Mauricio Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Matias Ramond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegale De Puntín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, ELMUÑE's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Ramond came free, but Mauricio Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Benvido's late challenge caught a ELMUÑE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Benvido helped the player get up and apologised. When Pegale De Puntín's Matias Ramond in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Ramond was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes ELMUÑE got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Hondo. In the 52nd minute of the match Baldomero Kinsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauricio Santiago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Melchor Hondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Paez having to interfere. ELMUÑE made a substitution. Cirilo Batista replaced Severo Orland. Cipriano Ulizes scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Santiago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Iraunkor hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Mauricio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Ramond in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Rubio got free with Mauricio Santiago in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Sidoro's late challenge caught a Pegale De Puntín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Sidoro helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Sidoro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mauricio Santiago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Ramond in the 87th minute of the match. Fidel Izel charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Izel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Fidel Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Severiano Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegale De Puntín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ELMUÑE the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Pegale De Puntín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Rubio to maneuver through the defense.
