Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Hermengildo Nerio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Cachilo FC --OFF-- got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Baumar. 4 minutes into the game, Independiente's Arnaldo Bide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Lia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Honorio Baumar got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Arnaldo Bide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Lia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 15th minute, Wilfredo Menendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermengildo Nerio in the 21st minute. Independiente's Arnaldo Bide got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Lia came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Eriberto Satordi. But to his dismay, Eriberto Satordi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the game, Independiente's Eriberto Satordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Lia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 32 played minutes Cachilo FC --OFF-- got a freekick which was hit by Santo Demesio. When Arnaldo Bide, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodolfo Lia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Bide in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Lia saved Cachilo FC --OFF-- from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Eriberto Satordi notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cachilo FC --OFF--'s Rodolfo Lia. Rodolfo Lia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Cachilo FC --OFF-- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independiente were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnaldo Bide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Osorio. Arnaldo Bide scored 0-6 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Lia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Satordi in the 59th minute of play forced Cachilo FC --OFF--'s goalkeeper Rodolfo Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Satordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcelo Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Satordi in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Lia saved Cachilo FC --OFF-- from getting behind. After 68 played minutes Cachilo FC --OFF-- got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Gustau. Americo Vellito hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A hard shot 75 in the game by Arnaldo Bide from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Lia managed to make a qualified save. Cachilo FC --OFF--'s players were relieved. The supporters of Independiente booed when Cachilo FC --OFF-- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC --OFF--'s goalkeeper Rodolfo Lia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Bide. The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto Satordi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Lia. That made the score 0-8 in the 86 minute of play. In the 90th minute, Roberto Ubendu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eriberto Satordi hit a great ball. Eriberto Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Lia having to interfere. Independiente's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
