Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sebastian Boni made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute Sebastian Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Ishmael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd minute, Sebastian Boni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Ishmael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 6th minute, Ariel Estefan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Estefan during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Estefan. Ariel Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Damian Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Cristian Quinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Damian Maura. Cristian Quinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Humberto Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ishmael having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Atilano Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Cordarrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Damian Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curumalán AFC. Stat Veritas FC's Sebastian Boni got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Stat Veritas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Guter to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ariel Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curumalán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Estefan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Maura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Maura came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Curumalán AFC's Eduardo Cordarrell. But to his dismay, Eduardo Cordarrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Sebastian Boni came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Stat Veritas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Boni couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Eduardo Cordarrell notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Stat Veritas FC's Damian Maura. Damian Maura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th play minute Sebastian Boni came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amado Ishmael. 3-2. 79 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Eduardo Cordarrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Esteban Cambiasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Maura having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Stat Veritas FC's zone, Esteban Cambiasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Maura came out of the goal and Esteban Cambiasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Losada in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Curumalán AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stat Veritas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
