After 11 minutes, Hernan Rios made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dionisio Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Hanot's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Rios came free, but Dionisio Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Kismi. Diego Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Ramone having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Hernan Rios made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Matia. Tello AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 35th minute, Pascual Gonsalvo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tello AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 39th minute Hernan Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Hanot in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Tello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Michael to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Rios came free, but Dionisio Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Severino Hanot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dionisio Matia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Hanot made a kick off. With a little luck, Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia got control of the ball when Hernan Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Justino Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tello AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Kismi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Hanot in the 64th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Gonsalvo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Zeledon Ramone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tello AFC. In the 72nd minute, Hernan Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Matia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After 75 minutes, Virgilio Baristo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tello AFC and the Black Sky FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Hernan Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diego Balendin fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tello AFC's protests and gave Diego Balendin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Diego Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tello AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Diego Balendin hit a great ball. With 88 minutes on the clock, Virgilio Baristo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Dionisio Matia, was totally fooled by Black Sky FC's Severino Hanot, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
