The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Lyazzide Lyachenkov. Saul Txatxu lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Los Liquisue FC's Ladislao Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Tonio in the 9th minute of play. Ignacio Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Cordarin having to interfere. Reynaldo Elivareo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Anacleto Argoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Los Liquisue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Chumo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Tonio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Tonio ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the game, Filomeno Segio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Liquisue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC LeX Luthor the free kick. A collision led to Los Liquisue FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Filomeno Segio hit a great ball. Ignacio Tonio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st match minute, Los Liquisue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Segio to maneuver through the defense. If Ignacio Tonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Alberto Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Liquisue FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC LeX Luthor the free kick. Alberto Atauri hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ignacio Tonio made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Claudio Chumo with David Quin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ignacio Tonio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ladislao Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Chumo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Los Liquisue FC's Ladislao Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Botello in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. Los Liquisue FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guido Oriol ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Guido Oriol almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Liquisue FC's Ladislao Cordarin did a great save. Claudio Chumo made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC LeX Luthor's Horacio Sanduru. After 75 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Tonio. After a defensive mix-up in Los Liquisue FC's zone, Ignacio Tonio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Cordarin came out of the goal and Ignacio Tonio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Los Liquisue FC booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Cordarin having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
