The supporters of Amapola booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Jakobe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mauro Sayveon fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amapola's protests and gave Mauro Sayveon a yellow card for diving instead. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Jesus Tonio replaced Jonathan Botello. Gaspar Firme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaspar Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Firme having to interfere. Guido Oriol might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Firme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Oriol ran back to his position shaking his head.
The wind increased when Anibal Muc made the kick off in the second half. AC LeX Luthor's Eliseo Tiniebra got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ignacio Tonio hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Ignacio Tonio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaspar Firme. Ignacio Tonio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 74th minute, Angelo Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Muc came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ignacio Tonio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
