Casimiro Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tiburcio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milferio's Eugenio Rius got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Terciero's late challenge caught a Milferio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Terciero helped the player get up and apologised. Azulgranas AFC's Faustino Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Páez in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Che during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eriberto Che kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes, Milferio's Jose Maria Traverso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Milferio reached it. After 32 minutes, Eugenio Rius made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Azulgranas AFC's Faustino Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Rencio during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lisandro Rencio got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas AFC's Lisandro Rencio got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes Milferio got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Birjaio. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

51 minutes into the match, Milferio's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Terciero came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute, Gavino Terciero made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Jakue. Milferio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Páez in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Milferio's Rodolfo Páez in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azulgranas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 played minutes Milferio got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Azeari. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azulgranas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jose Maria Traverso was slow to take the kick. During this time Milferio's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jose Maria Traverso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Azulgranas AFC's Faustino Azevedo did a great save. Jaime Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Azulgranas AFC's Thomas Daniel got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Milferio booed when Azulgranas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Che didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Rodolfo Páez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milferio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Páez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Milferio's Faustino Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodolfo Páez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Faustino Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Páez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Tomas Birjaio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Silvano Chorache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Jakue. Milferio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
