Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Paulista started the match with the kick off. Samuel Paulista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto George read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Ezequiel Fernández's late challenge caught a Chacarita Futsal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezequiel Fernández helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Sporting de Gijón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Fernández to maneuver through the defense. Teofilo Kinsen lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Carmelo Marz replaced Leonardo Joanes. In the 31st minute, Wilfredo Etxahun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting de Gijón's Fausto George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gaztea in the 34th minute of play. Gerardo Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Etor in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Etxahun notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia. Gerardo Elia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuel Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Sporting de Gijón's Mauro Perez was substituted for Omar Etor. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Etxahun was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas-Armando Giunta got free with Gerardo Elia in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milan Starss kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Fausto George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Paulista in the 64th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gaztea came free, but Fausto George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Sporting de Gijón's Timoteo Eguntsenti was substituted for Cristian Medina. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Aaron Anselmino replaced Eloy Timo. After 82 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Blas-Armando Giunta. After 86 minutes of play, Chacarita Futsal's Samuel Paulista made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto George was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chacarita Futsal's Charly Fernández was substituted for Isidro Gaztea. 91 minutes into the game, Chacarita Futsal's Samuel Paulista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fausto George made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.
