In the 2nd minute Lei Peng Hui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Diaz's late challenge caught a Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Ψ virgen Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Diaz to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Ψ virgen Ψ defense, Ubaldo Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Birila. The Ψ virgen Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Birila should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca booed when Ψ virgen Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Vedillo in the 10th minute of play forced Ψ virgen Ψ's goalkeeper Jonas Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a corner. Ψ virgen Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amancio Orlandus ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Amancio Orlandus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonas Birila quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonas Birila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Oxel went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the game, Marciano Berriotxoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ψ virgen Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo de Bahia Blanca the free kick. A collision led to Ψ virgen Ψ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marciano Berriotxoa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ψ virgen Ψ's Carmelo Iraitz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jonas Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Peng Hui in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jimeno Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Birila having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Ψ virgen Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Oxel came free, but Jonas Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victorino Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Lei Peng Hui sped through Ψ virgen Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonas Birila.

The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Jimeno Oxel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Birila. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. Dalmacio Manuelo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Vedillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Birila. That made the score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Haroldo Erasto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψ virgen Ψ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Haroldo Erasto got a free kick in the 65th minute. Paulino Brais took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Diez. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonas Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Oxel in the 68th minute of play. Fabio Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Vedillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Birila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. When Edgardo Txurio fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's protests and gave Edgardo Txurio a yellow card for diving instead. Edgardo Txurio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Fausto Gonzales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Fabio Diez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amancio Orlandus lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Jonas Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Oxel in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Ubaldo Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Vedillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Manuelo got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 97 minutes into the game, one of Ψ virgen Ψ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olimpo de Bahia Blanca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
