Felipe Chaime came out of the goal and Miguel Merentiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. pciclon's Felipe Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edison Cavani in the 11th minute of play. Felipe Chaime stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edison Cavani's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Bernabe Justin charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Justin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when pciclon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Edison Cavani notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of pciclon's Felipe Chaime. Felipe Chaime was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benigno Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Miguel Merentiel fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frontera AFC's protests and gave Miguel Merentiel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Miguel Merentiel hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Gombal came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, pciclon's Nestor Cordario made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evaristo Ekain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Romero made a huge save.

Frontera AFC's Severino Cucao was substituted for Alberto Márcico. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edison Cavani made a kick off. When Frontera AFC's Edison Cavani in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye pciclon's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Chaime made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Merentiel in the 54th minute. When Cristian Lema came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Frontera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Lema couldn't finish the play. Frontera AFC's Cristobal Lizbeth was substituted for Edison Cavani. Felipe Chaime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, pciclon's Desiderio Honrio got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Lizbeth in the 73rd minute of play forced pciclon's goalkeeper Felipe Chaime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Miguel Merentiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Felipe Chaime made a huge save. A hard shot 84 in the game by Cristobal Lizbeth from a close distance when the talented Felipe Chaime managed to make a qualified save. pciclon's players were relieved. In the 85th minute Frontera AFC were awarded a corner. Jonas Gilen went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Merentiel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cristobal Lizbeth succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 88th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Lizbeth in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the game, Cristobal Lizbeth recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felipe Chaime. Cristobal Lizbeth showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The Frontera AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Frontera AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
