In the 14th minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Cristobal Berto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 19th minute, Moises Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Riquelme Fútbol Club defense, Marcelino Sayvion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Flores. The Riquelme Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Flores should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cremonese's zone, Ernesto Marin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Vitin came out of the goal and Ernesto Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Cristobal Berto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Vitin, 4-1. A collision led to Cremonese getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Alfonso Domeka hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Ernesto Marin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Vitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Victorio Txema hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Marcelino Sayvion hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Berto to strike the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Eloy Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Sayvion. 73 minutes into the game, Victor Eguen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cremonese's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riquelme Fútbol Club the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Domeka to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Marcelino Sayvion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cremonese and the Riquelme Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Erramun to maneuver through the defense. Cremonese's Marcelino Sayvion got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Erramun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Cristobal Berto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horacio Vitin. Cremonese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Berto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. The supporters of Cremonese booed when Riquelme Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Saul Cerilo. Eloy Flores made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Teodosio Niva sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Riquelme Fútbol Club had played much better football throughout.
