Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Gasteiz in the 6th minute of play. Martín Izquierdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Sagrario came free, but Martín Izquierdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Bermund hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Izquierdo came free, but 麦剑青 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Geronimo Sagrario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Christian Izquierdo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Christian Izquierdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Christian Izquierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Mirande came free, but Martín Izquierdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Geronimo Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martín Izquierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Matteo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sebastián Izquierdos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got 麦剑青 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute Victoriano Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martín Izquierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 麦剑青 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 39th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Quilmes's Donato Nuxila made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martín Izquierdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Quilmes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Mirande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Donato Nuxila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Nuxila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 麦剑青 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Lertxun in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Martin Palermo F.C.'s zone, Geronimo Sagrario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Izquierdo came out of the goal and Geronimo Sagrario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Candido Gasteiz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Martín Izquierdo, passed just outside the right post. 68 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Lertxun came free, but 麦剑青 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Christian Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 麦剑青 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Izquierdo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Amado Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastián Izquierdo came free, but 麦剑青 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Geronimo Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Sagrario couldn't finish the play. 麦剑青 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastián Izquierdo in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Izquierdo. After 91 minutes, Geronimo Sagrario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilmes and the Martin Palermo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Martin Palermo F.C. booed when Quilmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Sagrario didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quilmes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
