Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Acade the free kick. The La Acade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Rozarius should have stopped the shot. The La Acade players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leones FC were winning 0-2.

Jonas Rozarius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Quinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Edgardo Calvino's late challenge caught a La Acade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 83rd minute of the match Leones FC got a corner. La Acade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. La Acade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones FC the free kick. Chants of Leones FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as La Acade had held the ball for most of the match.
