After 4 minutes of play, Villa La Perla's Benedicto Medina made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Manilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sarmiento de Resistencia's Benigno Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador James in the 8th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Rodolfo Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Polentzi in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sarmiento de Resistencia defense, Nemesio Tuste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benigno Manilan. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benigno Manilan should have stopped the shot. Cesar Sarmiento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Sarmiento de Resistencia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa La Perla:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Villa La Perla. Omar Polentzi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benigno Manilan. 0-3. Cleto Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Rodolfo Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Benedicto Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Omar Polentzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Manilan. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Polentzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Delmar Machado got a free kick in the 46th minute. Froilan Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Sarmiento de Resistencia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa La Perla were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nemesio Tuste made a kick off. Benigno Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tuste in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Delmar Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa La Perla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Delmar Machado got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Rodolfo Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Benigno Manilan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Tuste. Benigno Manilan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Medina went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Tuste in the 71st minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Benigno Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Benigno Manilan made a huge save. Omar Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benigno Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Polentzi in the 83rd minute. Villa La Perla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
