Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Sazon started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Sotil in the 3rd minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu got control of the ball when Leo Victoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Macerio in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Jacinto Estavan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Txatxu. The goal made the score 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Jaunti in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txatxu saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Jaunti came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Zeledon Sazon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Paulo Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Txatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Sazon in the 30th minute. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Laureano Mercurio hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Tomás Cordaryal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Txatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 38th minute of the match, Feliciano Jaunti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Txatxu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner ended in Jacinto Estavan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu did a great save. When Aldo Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Aldo Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Jaunti in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txatxu saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. The supporters of Independiente booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Zeledon Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Independiente's Zeledon Sazon in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Q. T. I.'s goalie prevented a goal. Leo Victoro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes, Q. T. I.'s Pablo Perutxo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Muc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Q. T. I. reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Jaunti in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Estavan in the 74th minute of the match. Christian Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Estavan in the 80th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Sazon might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Txatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Sazon ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Estavan came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Independiente's Jacinto Estavan made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Txatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Q. T. I. made a substitution. Ignacio Ignatius replaced Pablo Perutxo. Independiente's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
