Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Honorato Normando got the match started through his kick off. Aldo Iruinea might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Dunixi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldo Iruinea ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Baldomiro Lop rounded Independiente's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Justo Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 36 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Iruinea. The long shot by Gaudencio Rico in the 37th minute really tested Lorenzo Vincent's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Santiago Izotz hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Independiente were awarded a corner. Jacinto Estavan went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jacinto Estavan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Dunixi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Camilo Tabor got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Victoro in the 48th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Justo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Sazon to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Vincent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Normando in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi got control of the ball when Paulo Garin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Victoro in the 61st minute of the match.
