Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) After a rather tough play, Orozcos's Ladislao Belarmo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arquímedes Gabon to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Ferrer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Koldo. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Hibai to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Elpidio Pes in the 18th minute really tested Ismael Koldo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 21 minutes into the game, Saverio Larpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arquímedes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orozcos the free kick. Sergio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Dominix in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Ismael Koldo managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Orozcos's Gavino Godoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 31st minute Feliciano Havier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Koldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orozcos's Sergio Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arquímedes Guerau in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Tolino in the 39th minute of play forced Orozcos's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Koldo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Elpidio Pes. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Orozcos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arquímedes:s goal. Sergio Romero came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Arquímedes's Saverio Larpe. But to his dismay, Saverio Larpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arquímedes's Manuel Romelio was substituted for Omar Orlin. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Ferrer was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Orozcos's Sergio Romero got control of the ball when Norberto Dominix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Romero was a little too slow when Norberto Dominix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. Arquímedes's Ismael Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Godoy in the 61st minute of play. After 63 played minutes Orozcos got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Abreu. In the 66thth minute of the game Paulino Tolino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orozcos's Sergio Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulino Tolino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Sergio Romero 66 minutes into the match. Mateo Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Vicente Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Tolino took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Romero. Sergio Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The supporters of Arquímedes booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romero having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Tolino in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arquímedes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Placido Milian in the 89th minute. Feliciano Havier tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sergio Romero. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-5 in the 89th minute. The Orozcos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arquímedes's performance. The match ended with a win for Arquímedes.
