Aquiles Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Aquiles Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Moise in the 6th minute of the match. The Orozcos fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Orozcos's Feliciano Havier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Teofilo Izel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute Rio Uchiha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A hard shot by Hugo Iratze from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Sergio Romero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 27 played minutes Orozcos got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Godoy. After 37 minutes of play, Orozcos's Gavino Godoy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Mannie was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Orozcos's zone, Delmiro Frutos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Romero came out of the goal and Delmiro Frutos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Aragones. Feliciano Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Baldomero Moise hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Iratze in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Everardo Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Romero was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Aragones in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Romero saved Orozcos from getting behind. Hector Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Yupandú FC's Edgardo Dalmai was substituted for Everardo Emesto. The supporters of Yupandú FC booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Hugo Iratze's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Romero was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Sergio Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Dalmai's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Mannie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gavino Godoy. The Orozcos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orozcos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
