In the 17th match minute, Arquímedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Tolino to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of C. A. Flancito booed when Arquímedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Norberto Dominix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Flancito's Jaroslaw Dres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C. A. Flancito's Jaroslaw Dres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Flancito from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, C. A. Flancito's goal looked a bit too open when Arquímedes Guerau came free, but Jaroslaw Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, C. A. Flancito's Raimundo Hanni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Koldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. C. A. Arquímedes Vincent hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ismael Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Michael in the 33rd minute of play. Ismael Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Michael in the 38th minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Ismael Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arquímedes made a substitution. Manuel Romelio replaced Omar Orlin. After a rather tough play, C. A. Flancito's Rafael Uzuri got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Arquímedes Guerau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nereo Michael in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Koldo saved Arquímedes from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Michael in the 81st minute of play forced Arquímedes's goalkeeper Ismael Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arquímedes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nereo Michael 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. 91 minutes into the game, Manuel Romelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arquímedes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Flancito the free kick.
