Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fratelli Branca was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Alberto Serapio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Oscar Confesor didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-5 via right post in the game's 56th minute. Islas FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Alfonso Dalmai got control of the ball when Benedicto Tonete tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Fratelli Branca got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 80 in the game by Oscar Confesor from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Dalmai managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Fernet Branca's players were relieved. Alfonso Dalmai was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Benedicto Tonete capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Tonete really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. In the 85th minute, Efrain Frichoso made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Abaurre. Islas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Islas FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Abaurre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efrain Frichoso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Confesor in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Dalmai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Confesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alfonso Dalmai made a huge save. Islas FC played a much better game than Sportivo Fernet Branca and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Fernet Branca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
