ZORZAL01's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julian Iratzeder in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Quico in the 24th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Alec Parslow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Arsenio Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Edgardo Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Parslow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the game Apolo Dalmau made a throw-in which Julian Iratzeder played forward. After 32 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Mirande. 34 minutes into the game, Wlodzimierz Januszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higinio Polo. Wlodzimierz Januszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 36th minute Edgardo Nardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Parslow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Honorio Quico made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alec Parslow was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgardo Nardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alec Parslow having to make a save. Apolo Dalmau charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Dalmau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Dalmau to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wlodzimierz Januszewski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 71 minutes, Wlodzimierz Januszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honorio Quico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Alec Parslow made a huge save. In the 78th minute ZORZAL01 were awarded a corner. Julian Iratzeder went to the cornerflag to take it. Julian Iratzeder made a great header on ZORZAL01's corner, it was just that Northern California's Alec Parslow managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Cortez during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Cortez to maneuver through the defense.
