The audience was convinced that Gaston Edur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Pablo Romero was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Juan Pablo Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 26th minute Gaston Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pablo Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Obano came free, but Isidro Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grütly's Isidro Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Obano in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Error 404's Celestino Obano fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some careless play in the Grütly defense, Celestino Obano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Gregory. The Grütly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Gregory should have stopped the shot. Grütly's Saturnino Dalmai quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximo Eufrasio, made in the 39th minute of the game. Isidro Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Obano in the 41st minute of the match. Faustino Abechuco hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Bernardino Odon got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Sayvion in the 48th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Isidro Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Error 404 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Obano to strike the kick off in the second half. Celestino Obano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Grütly's Isidro Gregory got control of the ball when Ricardo Asur tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Grütly getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gaston Edur hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Error 404's Ricardo Asur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Gregory made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 73rd minute, Faustino Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Error 404's Humberto Gonza got a free kick in the 76th minute. Isidro Gregory made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Sayvion in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Grütly's Gaston Edur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Pablo Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 84 played minutes Grütly got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Guillem. Ricardo Asur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Isidro Gregory made a huge save. Faustino Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Pablo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Edur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Error 404 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Error 404 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
