Clodoveo Caetano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Liberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, one of Nahitantino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nahitantino. Cristo Mede shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Beila in the 10th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Israel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Oscar Chap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Absolut Rasta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nahitantino the free kick. After a rather tough play, Absolut Rasta FC's Oscar Chap got a free kick in the 19th minute. Absolut Rasta FC's Prospero Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Jorrin in the 22nd minute of play. Prospero Liberto was a little too slow when Sixto Belasko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Caetano in the 26th minute of play forced Absolut Rasta FC's goalkeeper Prospero Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Matteo's late challenge caught a Nahitantino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. Adrian Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Israel Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Matteo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Luisito Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Higinio Illan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Prospero Liberto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nahitantino defense, Luisito Beila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Vergaray. The Nahitantino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Vergaray should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Illan made a kick off. Prospero Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Jorrin in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Sixto Belasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Liberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Illan in the 54th minute of play forced Absolut Rasta FC's goalkeeper Prospero Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Absolut Rasta FC's Prospero Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Freire in the 56th minute of play. Prospero Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Caetano in the 60th minute of the match. Nahitantino's Israel Vergaray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Nahitantino from getting a goal against them. Israel Vergaray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Beila's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Nahitantino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
