Patricio Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Eriberto Ourente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Cubilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Deportivo Tachito fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Deportivo Tachito's Manuel Bilintx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Amato got free with Luís Mejía in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Luís Cubilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eriberto Ourente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Bilintx came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyazzide Ruperto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Patricio Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eriberto Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victor Nofre fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Tachito's protests and gave Victor Nofre a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when Deportivo Tachito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Nofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Tachito getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Victor Nofre hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Tata González got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36 played minutes Deportivo Tachito got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Bilintx. 41 minutes into the game, Luís Cubilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eriberto Ourente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Luís Artime replaced Patricio Sal. LA LUZ F.C.'s Eleuterio Taurino was substituted for Tadeo Chus. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severo Amato to make the kick off. Severo Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Mejía having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Simon Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Ourente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Cubilla went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Manuel Bilintx made a precise shot to the right of Luís Mejía. LA LUZ F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Severo Amato came free, but Luís Mejía reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Mejía showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Amato in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Lyazzide Ruperto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Luís Cubilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Ourente. Deportivo Tachito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Cubilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Luís Mejía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Bilintx in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Cubilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eriberto Ourente. That made the score 2-5 after 85 minutes of play. The supporters of Deportivo Tachito booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Txeru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Remi Schoenmaekers notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of LA LUZ F.C.'s Luís Mejía. Luís Mejía was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The LA LUZ F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
