The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorio Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Victorio Oliverio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 4 minutes in the game, fortunately Octavio Ferrer had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Leobardo was slow to take the kick. During this time LiBeRiA F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Victorio Oliverio made a great header on LiBeRiA F.C.'s corner, it was just that Yala's Octavio Ferrer managed to reach the ball for a save. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Reyes in the 11th minute of the match. Hipolito Froila hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Oliverio got free with Octavio Ferrer in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Placido Juvenal. 30 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Reyes came free, but Octavio Ferrer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Koldobika during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yala's Guaberto Koldobika got a free kick in the 35th minute. Salva Moresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Ferrer having to interfere. Eustaquio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Sustrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Oliverio to strike the kick off in the second half. Octavio Ferrer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Eustaquio Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Koldobika in the 60th minute of play. Eustaquio Sengrat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Sustrai's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes LiBeRiA F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niki Bundev who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Niki Bundev got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eustaquio Sengrat quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 73 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Sustrai. The LiBeRiA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when LiBeRiA F.C.'s Salva Moresco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Niki Bundev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eustaquio Sengrat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Koldobika, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Orlando Sustrai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Sengrat was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. LiBeRiA F.C. had won after a very even match.
