Bruno Hechter might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Locke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Hechter ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 minutes SAN LORENZO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hugo Mirande who took care of the corner kick. The Terremoto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAN LORENZO FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Hechter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Frisco charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Frisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Frisco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Teodosio Ugaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Eufrasio during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Simon Eufrasio got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bernardino Eneko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Ugaitz in the 84th minute of play. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Locke should have stopped the shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
