The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ruperto Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Ritchie in the 11th minute of the match. Ruperto Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ruperto Cordarell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Mazaredo AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nunez Bermund hit a great ball. When Placido Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Caballeritos del Baile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Bermudo couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Jacob during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Loramendi made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Loramendi. The Mazaredo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Mazaredo AFC's Damaso Patrido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Placido Bermudo hit a great ball. When Damaso Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mazaredo AFC fans jumped to their feet. In the 66th minute, Generoso Ritchie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes, Caballeritos del Baile's Elvio Larpe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Cordarell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Artemio Birjaio's late challenge caught a Caballeritos del Baile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
