The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Bazkoare scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Benat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Ramond in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Celestino Bazkoare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Benat. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Benat should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Joel Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Racing Club got a corner. Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uriel Manex ran over to the corner to take the kick. Uriel Manex made a great header on Racing Club's corner, it was just that Social y Dep. Patagonia's Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate managed to reach the ball for a save. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Fidencio in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Grygoriy Lozynskyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Benat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Martin Eguntsenti took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Benat. Hernan Benat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 40 minutes of play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Martin Eguntsenti made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Benat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grygoriy Lozynskyi in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Social y Dep. Patagonia were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Fidencio to strike the kick off in the second half. Grygoriy Lozynskyi struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Hernan Benat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Social y Dep. Patagonia. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Grygoriy Lozynskyi scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Benat, making the score, 0-7. Grygoriy Lozynskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Social y Dep. Patagonia's Grygoriy Lozynskyi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hernan Benat. That made the score 0-9 after 63 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Ramond in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70thth minute of the game Grygoriy Lozynskyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club's Hernan Benat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute of the game, Anier Tolino landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Martin Eguntsenti's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Eguntsenti helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Martin Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 76th minute. Martin Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Benat came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Alberto Dely Valdés slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 79th minute. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Fidencio in the 84th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Martin Eguntsenti. Emiliano Martínez de Aldunate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Social y Dep. Patagonia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
