Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Primitivo Jatsu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by İdris Doğu in the 14 minute of the game. C A U's Ceferino Hever got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Hever in the 24th minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emilio Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Barcelos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Munio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Beebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Su to strike the kick off in the second half. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's attentive Jose Gipuzkoa managed to snatch the ball when İdris Doğu made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. In the 56th minute Damian Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Beebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, C A U's İdris Doğu got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Federico Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute.
