The corner went over the outstretched arms of Charmander City's goalie and right to Danial Boon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Charmander City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Goba.

The wind increased when Narciso Vincente made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danial Boon in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tedi Papo saved Charmander City from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Andres Rub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Andres Rub had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Maiorga. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Rub was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
