Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andy Somellera took the kick off in the first half of the match. C.A. Peñarol's Nahuel Vlahovic quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Restu Pineda, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Matro Perramon was a little too slow when Edmundo Pastene got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Nancupel in the 10th minute of play. Garcia Gorostieta charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garcia Gorostieta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 minutes, Joachim Arana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universitario and the C.A. Peñarol players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C.A. Peñarol booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Arana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matro Perramon came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Peñarol's Edmundo Pastene. But to his dismay, Edmundo Pastene quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 18th minute, Ireno Sudi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Vidal Cantabrana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Benavente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Benavente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillen Mijangos in the 21st minute of the match. Edmundo Pastene was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Alejandro Noguera hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Edmundo Pastene made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game Restu Pineda did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Andy Somellera. Menéndez Mallea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edmundo Pastene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Edmundo Pastene kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes, Luis Neira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Peñarol and the Universitario players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Neira hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Joachim Arana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A. Peñarol's Samuel Benavente didn't even have to move. After having played for 64 minutes, Edmundo Pastene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Peñarol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Pastene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matro Perramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Maritano in the 66th minute of the match. Celedonio Maritano scored 5-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matro Perramon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuel Benavente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillen Mijangos in the 76th minute of the match. Restu Pineda made in the 81st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andy Somellera however managed to control. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Guillen Mijangos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, C.A. Peñarol's Marco Nancupel got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Edmundo Pastene kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute of the game Garcia Gorostieta made a throw-in which Guillen Mijangos played forward. Salvador Faúndez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
