The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chico Ruifrancos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Diegotxe Carvajal got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jorrin Artiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Héctor Ambrosio in the 17th minute. Chico Ruifrancos came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorrin Artiz could save by the left post. Vergaray Esquide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Valverde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elivareo Monta in the 24th minute of play forced Audaz FC's goalkeeper Vergaray Esquide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Audaz FC's Vergaray Esquide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikel Envito in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Federico Valverde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S.D Punta Ballena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Audaz FC's Vergaray Esquide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikel Envito in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anton Guilizasti managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Guilizasti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vergaray Esquide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Federico Valverde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vergaray Esquide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to C.S.D Punta Ballena getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Federico Valverde hit a great ball.

Vergaray Esquide made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mikel Envito sent off a good shot on target. Elivareo Monta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Vergaray Esquide when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Audaz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Valverde came free, but Vergaray Esquide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mikel Envito came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the C.S.D Punta Ballena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikel Envito couldn't finish the play. In the 79th play minute Anton Guilizasti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vergaray Esquide. 0-8. Vergaray Esquide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elivareo Monta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Federico Valverde made a precise shot to the right of Vergaray Esquide. Audaz FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9.
