In the 9th minute Ambrosio Obieso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Jacindo Casanova made a precise shot to the right of Simon Rainey. Flagstaff's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Simon Rainey made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Benat Lueje sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Flagstaff defense, Vítor Roque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Rainey. The Flagstaff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Rainey should have stopped the shot. Simon Rainey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Roque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Flagstaff from getting a goal against them. The corner led ASI NOMAS FC's Vítor Roque to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Rainey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacindo Casanova got free with Simon Rainey in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, ASI NOMAS FC's Vítor Roque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simon Rainey. Simon Rainey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benat Lueje got free with Simon Rainey in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, A.J. Sanderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Obieso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Simon Rainey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Rainey made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Benat Lueje sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Quintun Rabago took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Simon Rainey to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

After 51 minutes of play, ASI NOMAS FC's Vítor Roque made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Rainey was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Ituarte came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Flagstaff got a freekick which was hit by A.J. Sanderson. Jacindo Casanova took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Rainey. Simon Rainey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Simon Rainey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benat Lueje in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Quintun Rabago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Roque in the 70th minute of play forced Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Simon Rainey saved Flagstaff from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Vítor Roque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASI NOMAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. ASI NOMAS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
