In the 2nd minute, Leonidas Moscoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toro Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unax Valdovinos in the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Jairo de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buenaventura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to UD ZAS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Franklin Bolde hit a great ball. Roger Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rey Cerezuela having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Jairo de Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rey Cerezuela. UD ZAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo de Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Urane in the 23rd minute of play. When Miguel Urane came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Urane couldn't finish the play. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Toro Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segio Lucas in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Leonidas Moscoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jairo de Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rey Cerezuela. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Jairo de Azevedo spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of UD ZAS's goal. 42 minutes into the match, Jairo de Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rey Cerezuela, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Urane in the 52nd minute of play. Miguel Urane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Buenaventura FC's Jairo de Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rey Cerezuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Unax Valdovinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toro Martínez having to interfere. If Jairo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Jairo de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Aizprua came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Aizprua couldn't finish the play. Rey Cerezuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Jairo de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo de Azevedo scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rey Cerezuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Miguel Urane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo de Azevedo in the 81st minute of play. Leonidas Moscoso struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Rey Cerezuela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura FC. Jairo de Azevedo scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rey Cerezuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Buenaventura FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
