The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Los Muñes de Don Cuco getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. The Fly T.T fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Artal in the 15th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Clifton Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Mikeldi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Clifton Slaughter made a huge save. In the 20th minute Edwardo Baca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Eutor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Anacleto Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Roland in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Beti. Higinio Artal's late challenge caught a Fly T.T's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Artal helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Fly T.T was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Baca to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Mikeldis short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Clifton Slaughter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anacleto Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Shirley in the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Mikeldi in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clifton Slaughter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Baltasar Mikeldi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fly T.T's Clifton Slaughter did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edwardo Baca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Léonard Colvin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anacleto Eutor. Léonard Colvin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 58th minute, Edwardo Baca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fly T.T fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fly T.T eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
