Booker Barrette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional Potosí. In the 13th minute, Cresitobalo Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Topsail's Booker Barrette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isias Abadia in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Cugat Abechuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the Topsail players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sheldon Felton struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topsail. In the 21st minute, Andre Holman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enetz Abendano during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nacional Potosí getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Enetz Abendano hit a great ball. Cugat Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Booker Barrette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Booker Barrette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isias Abadia in the 28th minute of the match. If Isias Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffroi Coupart to maneuver through the defense. Booker Barrette came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Isias Abadia. But to his dismay, Isias Abadia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Booker Johnson got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Cordeara Abenda made a precise shot to the right of Booker Barrette. Topsail's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Cugat Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when Topsail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Helton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play Nacional Potosí's Enetz Abendano was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 45 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Enetz Abendano. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Milligan to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Max Milligan in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 53rd match minute, Nacional Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Abarca to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Rogelio Abel got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nacional Potosí's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Milligan in the 55th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Topsail's Max Milligan made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nery Pumpido was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Topsail booed when Nacional Potosí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cugat Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinto Abajas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Booker Barrette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Quinto Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Booker Barrette having to interfere. When Quinto Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Nacional Potosí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinto Abajas couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Nacional Potosí's Cresitobalo Abarca got a free kick in the 81st minute. Booker Barrette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cugat Abechuco in the 85th minute. In the 89th match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Garrett to maneuver through the defense. If Cordeara Abenda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Carlton Garrett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Topsail's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional Potosí the free kick. After 94 played minutes Topsail got a freekick which was hit by Carlton Garrett. When the final whistle sounded Nacional Potosí left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Topsail.
